Facilitator for Developing Champions
MWAS is planning to implement a program called Developing Champions. The program was developed by the Western Australian Institute of Sport and the Department of Sport and Recreation. The program builds life skills and assists athletes to achieve on and off the sporting field. We are seeking expressions of interest from people within the community that are interested in being a 'Lead Facilitator' for the program or an 'Athlete Co-Presenter'. There will be two short workshops each year, commencing this Spring.
MWAS would ideally like to train 2 - 3 Lead Facilitators. Volunteer presenters are preferred, however a small fee could be negotiated.
The position descriptions, which can be downloaded below provides an indication of the skills required and the responsibilities. Note however that there will only be minimal coordination required as MWAS will fulfil this responsibility. Please contact Chris Darlington on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0487 846 283 if you wish to discuss further, or to express interest.
