Mid West Academy of Sport (MWAS) exists to provide an exceptional home training environment for talented athletes across the Mid West region of Western Australia.
We’re passionate about nurturing local sporting talent—whether you're an athlete, coach, official, or administrator—and helping you thrive right here in the region. By strengthening the sporting pathways available in the Mid West, we aim to create more opportunities, keep families connected to the region, and help local communities grow stronger through sport.
What We Do
At MWAS, we provide targeted programs and development pathways to help our region’s athletes and sporting professionals reach their full potential. Our work includes:
Athlete, coach and official development programs
General support services such as strength & conditioning, nutrition, and sports psychology
Partnering with local sporting associations to strengthen coaching pathways
Delivering community impact programs that support the broader health and wellbeing of the Mid West
We also offer scholarship opportunities that provide access to high-level training and development services, equipping athletes and coaches with the tools they need to succeed.

Our vision is to promote, develop and support sporting talent throughout the Mid West. By doing so, we aim to elevate the role of sport across the region while contributing to the development of the Mid West as a destination of choice for both current and future residents.
